Shalva Natelashvili Regrets not Entering Parliament

September 10, 2010
The leader of Labor Party, Shalva Natelashvili regrets that has not entered the parliament. Natelashvili made this statement at a meeting with journalists in Prime Times press club.

“If we had entered parliament, Mikheil Saakashvili might not have dared the Tskhinvali venture. He would not have had the manageable parliament to give him desirable inference. This was a big mistake,” – stated Natelashvili.

“Those who initiated not to enter parliament, willingly entered the city councils,” – stated Natelashvili and blamed opposition colleagues in inconsequent acts.

According to him, there are only two political parties in the country. “One is a criminal gang registered under one political party, another one is Labor Party, which has been firm for 15 years now,” – stated Natelashvili.

As the Labor Party leader noted, the rest are the small interest groups who often change their stands.

Shalva Natelashvili expressed hope that these opposition “interest groups” would soon become strong opposition political parties with who the collaboration is anticipated.
