Russian Federation Is Imposed to Pay 400 Euros to Chechnyan Families

Russian Federation is found guilty in torture of Chechnyan teachers and kidnapping of two Chechnyan girls.
 
Strasbourg Court resolution indicates that in 2000, 50 Chechnyan male teachers were first beaten then their left years were cut. According to judges, they were shocked that policemen who represent the state committed such a terrible clime. Russia was imposed to pay 70 thousands Euro to victims.

Another case concerns the kidnapping and disappearance of Chechnyan girls in 2002-2003. According to court resolution, since the kidnapped girls have not been found yet, they might be dead.

The document emphasizes that Russia did not conduct effective investigation for the examination of the case and added on the moral damage of the victim’s relatives. Russia is imposed to pay 321 thousands Euros for the families of victims.
