The Ministry of Internal Affairs publishes terrifying information on the shepherds and the flock disappeared on November 13th. The officials of the Main Regional Agency of Kvemo Kartli detained the individuals accused in the deliberate murder of shepherds and kidnapping flocks. According to MIA, the flock kidnapped from Gardabani region was sold to the Kvareli resident.

The detainees are Zviad Toradze, born in 1980 and his allies: Giorgi Nikolashvili, born in 2978 and Zurab Gogniashvili, born in 1981.

According to MIA, ten days before the incident, Toradze contacted his countryman Gia Aghabalov, a cattle trader with the intention of selling the flock. Aghabalov connected him to Iveri Chepashvili, Kvareli resident who wanted to buy the flock. Then the defendant attacked the flock of his relative Parnaoz Toradze in the village Akhalsopeli of Gardabani region and killed the shepherds, brothers Koba and Sulkhan Arabulis, put their dead bodies in the pits dug beforehand. Nikolashvili and Gogiashvili drove the cattle away and sold it to Iveri Chepashviin in the village Patardzeuli of Sagarejo region.

The investigation is undereway according to the article 109 of the Criminal Code of Georgia that envisages the life sentences.

The crime was commited on November 13th of 2010.
