Clients of the Center-Point VS “Dexus”

December 2, 2010
The former clients of the building company Center Point blame the Company Dexus in breaching the agreement conditions.

About 100 clients are collecting signatures near the office of the Dexus. After that, they will send a special petition to the director of the company Giorgi Kananashvili.

One of the victimized contractor reported to the Interpresnews that the new agreement of Dexus is not acceptable for them and they are not going to sign it.

“They have offered completely different agreement to us where many paragraphs are unacceptable for us. One of them directly obliges me to pay the VAT that is 18% of the flat price,” said the victimized client.

He added that the agreement with the Center Point obliged the building company to cede the white carcass to the owners while the Dexus intends to cede black carcass to them based on the new agreement.

“There is one more obscure paragraph in the agreement regarding the mortgage of the flat. More precisely, the company is responsible that when I register the flat at the Public Registry my flat will be free of mortgage. I think my apartment is not mortgaged yet but after I sign the agreement, I will automatically agree to mortgage it. Thus, I will not have guarantee that in three years I would have no problems with any other company or bank,” said the client.

Most of the clients have paid the price of the flats completely and they had to receive their apartments in 2007-2008.

Company Dexus started management of the Center Point wth its uncompleted projects. The agreement between the companies was signed on September 10. Dexus is responsible to finish all projects launched by the Center Point within three years. According to their action plan, the construction of every building will re-start eventually.
