Law Enforcement Officers Detained 13 Directors of Several Hotels

The law enforcement officers detained 13 directors of several hotels in Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi and Tsnori. Most of them are females.

According to the investigation department of the Ministry of Finances, the directors of the hotels “Kolkhi” and “Lux” in Tbilisi, hotel “Labakuri” and “Ana” in Batumi, hotel “Sibito” in Tsnori and hotels “Lia” and “Aia” in Kutaisi were detained for fabricated tax documents. They are: Giorgi Lomtatidze, Liana Andriadi, Lela Labadze, Shalva Lobzhanidze, Bichiko Abuladze, Vakhtang Kartsivadze, Gizo Gakharia, Valentina Khailova, Ketevan Jankarashvili, Tsitsino Kbiladze, Tea Gorgoreliani, Sopo Tsaava and Gia Kotia.

According to the investigation, those people regularly made illegal deals with citizens and prepared false tax documents in exchange of certain amount of money.

Preliminary investigation was launched under Article 210 of the Criminal Code of Georgia; the crime is punished by imprisonment from 4 to 7 years.
