Broken Agreement

December 24, 2010
Zaza Kolelishvili’s famous movie Garigeba (“a deal”) comes back to screen after 20 years. Garigeba 2 has already been completed. The filming has been taking place in the village Akura of Kakheti region.

The owner of the house Nino Shildelashvili blames the crew in violating the agreement condition and states that for the permission of filming in her house, Zaza Kolelishvili and the producer of Garigeba 2 had to pay just 400 GEL.

After completing the filming, the crew left Nino Shildelashvili’s house and the village Akura without fulfilling the verbal agreement.

Nino Shildelashvili contacted Human Rights Center for help. The producer and the director did not wish to talk about this topic with Human Rights Center.

Nino Shildelashvili is going to submit a complaint in Court and reach the fulfillment of verbal agreement this way.
