Minor Preference for Pharmacies

February 9, 2011

Pharmacies will have some preference regarding video cameras.

Until now it was mandatory for pharmacies to have both internal and external video cameras. According to the new decree of the Minister of Healthcare and Social Welfare pharmacies will have to install video cameras only at the main entrance outside the building (to watch customers).

In addition, the decree clarifies that it is not mandatory to have a video camera at the back entrance and if the pharmacy is located in a detached place where the main entrance (of the pharmacy) does not go into the street.

The pharmacies are entitled to install video-cameras from February 1st only in the capital city.

The similar commitments will be implemented in the regions gradually, but the terms are not known yet.
