Ministry of Internal Affairs Announces Competition for Kids’ Website

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia announces a competition on the creation of kids’ website kids.police.ge.

The information published on the official website of the Ministry lists the criteria for the new website has to satisfy. The website, for the kids from 3 to 13, shall be cognitive and educational; children should easily get easily registered and store information on the website; they should be able to upload their paintings on the website; they should be able to start and continue any game or animation; the website should have several designs according to the age of children as well as several languages to choose; the front page should provide information about the contests of the MIA as well as education activities carried out by the Ministry; the kid’s blocks should store online games, educational animations and test. For example, traffic rules, skills to differ uniforms of police officers, fire-brigades and rescue teams; the meaning of the colors on the traffic lights; rules how to cross street, how to use undergrounds and bridges; how to call 022; all information shall be provided in easy language; the applicant should submit budget and time-sheet for the creation of the website.
 
The criteria are the following: the website should be educational; should be easy to apply;
The Ministry says several countries have similar websites. Namely, the Ministry of Internal Affairs names the USA, Italy and France.
