Changes and Ammendments to Georgian Law on Public Service

According to the new draft law, the changes are proposed in the matters of job dismissals and restitutions on the basis of court decision.

According to the draft law, the decision of the court to cancel the decree, order or decision on the job dismissal does not immediately result in the restitution in the cases when the employer department is obligated to issue new administrative act after studying and assessing the circumstances related to job dismissal or transfer.

The lost wages will be compensated only when the individual is restored to the job.

The draft law was initiated by Georgian government.
