Small Incident Takes Place between Journalists and Drunk Youth

A small incident took place between the journalists and drunken adolescent at the protest rally in front of building of the Public Broadcaster. Approximately 20-year old man physically and verbally assaulted the media representatives. He punched the operator of one of the TV companies and spit on another.

As the organizers and the participants of the protest rally state the young person is not the supporter of Public Assembly and that he is a provocateur. However, some people stated that he is a participant of the action and asked others not to take revenge against him.

The leader of Democratic Movement Nino Burjanadze stated that the incident was a planned provocation and advised the journalists to address the police building near the Public Broadcaster and find out who was the author of the incident.

Later, the unidentified adolescent was taken by a lady and two men from the territory.
