Human Rights Center accuses Sagarejo Regional Court in the blocking of public information. Madona Samunashvili, an individual responsible for disclosing public information refuosed to disclose the decisions on the imprisonment of opposition supporters to the human rights organization.

“Public department is obligated not to disclose the private information without the consent of the individual in question or in the instances envisaged by law – without the court decision. The court is not authorized to issue this material without the written consent of the parties,” – states the letter of the court.

Human Rights Center will appeal against the refusal of the court. According to the human rights organization, the court was obliged to disclose the decisions at least with codes. “This is not the first instance when the Sagarejo Court blocks the public information,” – stated Human Rights Center.
