Lasha Chkhartishvili Became Father during the Arrest

The health state of the member of Conservative Party Lasha Chkhartishvili has deteriorated. The representative of People’s Party Aleko Shalamberidze stated the corresponding in the press conference held in the office of National Council.

As Shalamberidze noted during Chkhartishvili’s hunger strike the ambulance brigade has been called twice. According to him, his requests have not been satisfied.

Particularly, no objective investigation has been carried out regarding the May 26th event and no search has been announced regarding the disappeared.

Chkhartishvili went on hunger strike with the abovementioned requests to the Gori detention cell.

Aleko Shalamberidze stated that Lasha Chkhartishvili had a child during the detention and congratulated him.

The representatives of Civil Movement also attended the press conference. As the head of the movement Manuchar Sigua stated Chkhartishvili is fighting for justice and is detained illegally. Civil Movement of IDPs expressed its support to him.
