Georgian MIA Continues Cooperation with the De-Facto Law Enforcement Agencies of South Ossetia

Tskhinvali police officers detained Irakli Saakashvili and Gabriel Basharuli sought by Georgian law enforcement bodies.

According to border service of the de-facto Security State Committee of South Ossetia, Georgian MIA petitioned to the Ossetian side to arrest Saakashvili and Basharuli.

According to the same agency, the wanted people were in Akhalgori district.

Currently, the detainees are in the office of the border service of the de-facto Security State Committee of South Ossetia and they will be assigned to the Georgian side soon.

It is noteworthy, that similar information was reported short time ago. De-facto law enforcement officers were looking for three wanted people based on the request of the Georgian side.
