New Manager of Tbilisi TV Mast Company Golden Com Registered on July 11th of 2011

According to the official information of Enterprise Registry, the new owner of TV communication mast the company Golden Com was registered on July 11th of 2011. The registration of Ltd. took place in a day. 105 GEL was paid for the service.

The request for the registration was submitted by Vasil Bolashvili. The registration address is not indicated on the website of registry. The only address indicated in the official document is Mtskheta, #158 Aghmashenebli St. located beneath the name of the applicant.

Golden Com won the auction conducted by the Ministry of Economics and Sustainable Development yesterday and became a manager of 100% share of state ownership Ltd. Alfa-Com. Until then Alfa-Com managed the TV mast.

„Electronic auction revealed a new manager of 100% share of Alpha-Com’s state ownership. New investor must maintain the profile of Alfa-Com. The right of management of Alfa-Com was sold out for 110 000 GEL. New investor will transfer 12 million US dollar investment during the term of four years. The TV mast will be technically reconstructed and new types of TV communication services will be planted. Tbilisi TV mast has not been sold. Ltd Alfa-Com the only active of which is Tbilisi TV mast has been transferred to the company Golden Com only for four years,” – says the statement of the Ministry of Economics and Sustainable Development.

Ltd Alfa-Com was created on the base of Georgia’s TV Radio Center and was its legal heir. It owned not only Tbilisi, but 35 other TV masts in different regions of Georgia. Tbilisi funicular TV mast alone serves 16 TV and 30 radio companies.

Only one subject took place in the online auction of Alpha-Kom.
