Training of Trainers on Hate Speech

Training of Trainers on Hate Speech

The Human Rights Center will organize 4-day training of trainers on Hate Speech on September 5-8, 2011 in Tbilisi.

The project is implemented by the South Caucasus Office of the Heinrich Boell Foundation and financially supported by the EU. The Human Rights Center is partner organization in the project together with the InterNews-Georgia and Association “Atinati.”

The training will invite representatives of both regional and Tbilisi based media and non-governmental organizations. The training will be held in English language and translated into Georgian. Participation in the training is free.

The selected participants shall attend the complete course of the training and later give 1-day training on the same topic to representatives of media and non-governmental organizations in September-October of 2011. Each trained trainer will receive honorarium of 150 Euro for 1-day training.

Participants from regions will have to cover their travel and accommodation expenses.
