The workers from the night-shift also joined their colleagues in the Kutaisi based Georgian-Indian metallurgical factory who have been on strike since September 13. Georgian United Trade Union informed the Interpresnews about it.
The representatives of the TU said only factory administration and 150 Indian employees of the factory work in the enterprise who have to work instead their Georgian colleagues.
The reason of the workers’ protest is poor working conditions, unbearable environment, anti-sanitary and cynic attitude from the administration. They went on strike on September 13 and several workers even started hunger-strike.
About 350 Georgian and 150 Indian people are employed in the factory.
