Employees of Budgetary Organizations Brought by 16 Mini-Buses and 2 Buses from Dusheti to Tbilisi to Attend Gathering to Meet Sarkozy

In order to attend gathering to meet Nicolas Sarkozy 300 people left from Dusheti to Tbilisi by 16 mini-buses, two buses and cars of officials of City Council.

Dusheti Municipality Governor Lasha Janashvili coordinated the transportation of people to Tbilisi. Majority are employees of Dusheti municipality local government, City Council, services of municipality, public schools and kindergartens. By the order of school principals, the students and parents also left for Tbilisi to meet the French President.

The list of people who were going to attend gathering from Dusheti were drawn out two days ago. All members of this list received special warning from the local government of Dusheti Municipality – people who do not go to Tbilisi to meet President of France will lose their job.

According to Mtskheta-Mtianeti Information Center, 600 people left from Dusheti Municipality to attend gathering to meet President Sarkozy. The autobuses and mini-buses were mobilized in the villages as well.

According to the directive received from the local government, the clothing of citizens must have been of ceremonial nature.
