Parliament Approved Pension Amnesty

The Parliament adopted the law on pension amnesty. The parliament put the Law on Amnesty on motion soon after the plenary session started.

According to the new law, the retired people will not have to return additionally allocated pension before November 1, 2011 (instead April 1). More precisely, if the extra money was allocated due to incorrectly provided data by the pensioner.

The corresponding funds will be legalized and the requirement of the law to recover the additionally allocated pensions based on the decision of corresponding agency. The draft-law was initiated by MP Giorgi Godabrelidze from the majority.
