“Significant Challenge for the Country” - President’s Spokesperson About Attempted Assault on Israeli Embassy

The government of Georgia evaluated the attempted assault on the representative of the Israeli Embassy in Georgia as an important challenge for the country.

Spokesperson of the President of Georgia Manana Manjgaladze stated about it today.

“The government of Georgia is extremely concerned with the attempt of assault on the employee of Israeli embassy in Tbilisi and assessed it as a significant challenge for the country. Condemning all types of terrorism, the Government of Georgia will use all resource to properly investigate the fact,” the statement reads.

On February 13, unidentified terrorists tried to explode bombs near the offices of Israeli Embassies in Georgia and India. The bomb was rendered harmless in Tbilisi while in Delhi, several people were wounded as a result of explosion.
