March 19, 2012

The head of Gurjaani office of Georgian Dream Akaki Begashvili states that official of Kakheti Agency of Constitutional Security Department Shalva Imerlishvili came to his home on March 16th and asked him to leave Georgian Dream.

“At night at about 9 o’clock my wife and I were at home. Shalva Imerlishvili came by his car. We talked almost about 2 hours. He was saying that Bidzina Ivanishvili was creating threat for state of Georgia and I should not be part of his coalition. I said that it was Saakashvili who was creating threat. Then he asked me to go out. We went out. Then he asked me if my son lived in the same village. I said yes. Then he asked me if my another son was serving in the army. I said yes. Then I said that if anything happens to them, I will revenge. Then he said once again that I have to leave Georgian Dream. I refused again. Then his bosses ordered to visit me and that I will have to talk to them. Then he left,” – Akaki Begashvili stated.
