Salaries to Be Increased at the Defense Ministry

March 22, 2012
The Defense Ministry of Georgia has opportunity to increase salaries for its personnel. The relevant amendments were introduced to the decree of the Defense Minister about “Salaries, social welfare and material aid for military servants of the Defense Ministry of Georgia, people with special title and civilians.

This decree lists salaries, bonuses, title bonuses for military servants and non-military personnel of the Defense Ministry.

The amendments resoluted that salaries are minimal monthly salaries of military servants and people with special state titles and they can be increased based on the agreement with the Ministry of Finances of Georgia through individual administrative-legal act of the Defense Minister.

The decree was published on Sakanonmdeblo Matsne (online news-source for legislative changes) on March 19, though it went to force on March 1, 2012.
