New Fine for Drivers

According to new draft amendment to Code of Administrative Offences initiated in the Parliament yesterday, new fine will be imposed on drivers.

According to the draft amendment, violating rules of disposition, transportation and maneuvering on sidewalk of the road will be fined by 50 GEL. No fine was envisaged for this kind of action until now.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) is the author of the draft law. Government is the initiator. Parliament has not started discussing draft amendment yet.
