Chamber of Control to Study Davit Bezhuashvili’s Case

Chamber of Control of Georgia will study the case of MP Davit Bezhuashvili, who organized a feast [Supra] for the residents of Asureti Village in Tetritskaro district.

“On June 5, media sources disseminated information about the majoritarian MP, representing the Tetritskaro municipality, Davit Bezhuashvili, offering a festive dinner (supra) to the population for the celebration of the “Asuretoba” holiday. Based on the preliminary assessment of the Monitoring Service of the Chamber of Control of Georgia, the study of this fact is within the mandate of the monitoring. Therefore, the Monitoring Service will study the circumstances around this fact and will inform the public about its findings. The Monitoring Service will cooperate with all interested persons related the receipt and analysis of information regarding this fact,” the statement of the CoC reads.
