Council of Religions Developed Recommendations to Create Tolerant Environment in Georgia

Council of Religions under the auspices of the Public Defender of Georgia developed recommendations to create tolerant environment in Georgia. The Recommendations were presented today in Tbilisi Marriott.

Public Defender Giorgi Tugushi, representatives of 25 churches and religious organizations within the Council of Religions and various international and local organizations attended the presentation.

The recommendations were forwarded to relevant structures. Head of Council of Religions Beka Mindiashvili said the Center has been working on those recommendations since 2010.

The Council of Religions was set up under auspices of the Public Defender’s Office in 2005.
