August 23, 2012
On August 23 Shavparosenbi (Black Shield Holders) held protest meeting in Batumi Boulevard demanding impartial investigation in the murder of Giorgi Laliashvili, 18.

“A year ago our friend and member of the Georgian Martial Arts federation Shavparosenbi 18-year-old Giorgi Laliashvili was murdered. He was fighting against six people who were beating him with brass-knuckles. One of them wounded him in the heart by knife. Investigation arrested only one person Giorgi Ninua who stabbed him in the heart. Other offenders are still unpunished,” Zurab Shaverdashvili member of Shavparosnebi said.

As meeting participants said from the footage is cut those scenes that showed whole picture of crime.

“We do not know who those people are but Giorgi’s two friends alleged six people were beating him simultaneously. So we demand impartial investigation and punishment of other perpetrators too.
