Rehabilitation Works Underway in the Polling Station

September 5, 2012

Rehabilitation works still continue in precinct #32 in Jimastaro village within Tskaltubo District Election Commission #58. The District Election Commission leased a building for the precinct and it needs repair. The precinct was officially opened on August 27. However, it has not launched activities yet. Only builders are working in the office.

Serapion Purtskhvanidze-the head of the DEC stated that the secretary and the members of commission are working on the verification of voters’ list in the village. So their presence in the polling station is not necessary; commission members are implementing their duties.

Giorgi Purtskhvanidze-the representative of the Georgian Dream to the precinct in Jimastaro village said: “The head of the PEC instructed us to gather once a week on Thursdays and discuss the issues”.
