Georgian Dasi in Terdjola District and Free Georgia in Zestaponi Drew In Georgian Dream

September 21, 2012

On September 21, Georgian Dream’s Terjola district office held briefing. Georgian Dasi’s majoritarian candidate in Terjola Valeri Liluashvili cancelled his candidature in favor of Zaal Gogsadze, Georgian Dream’s majoritarian candidate in the same district.

Valeri Liluashvili publicly stated that he joined Georgian Dream. “I made the decision after TV-Companies Maestro and TV 9 depicted video-footage of prisoners’ abuse.

National Movement’s majoritarian candidate in Terjola Kakha Butskhrikidze personally participated in the creation of the penitentiary system of Georgia. Moreover, he was deputy of Bacho Akhalaia being penitentiary minister. So, our purpose is to give chance to the district population to elect the candidate who will serve public interests and not the person who will implement people’s intimidation policy,” Valeri Liluashvili said.

Free Georgia’s majoritarian candidate in Zestaponi Elguja Kvenetadze also cancelled his candidature in favor of the Georgian Dream. He attended the Coalition’s assembly in Zestaponi and declared that he is cancelling his candidature in favor of Gogi Kavtaradze.
