Former owners of Electricity Wagon Repair Factory to Start Struggle to Gain Business Back

October 12, 2012

Former owners of Electricity Wagon Repair Factory are going to start lawful struggle to gain their business. Former chairman of Supervisory Board Avtandil Sakvarelidze and former Director General of the factory Mirian Dekanoidze informed Interpessnews about it.

According to their information, Kezerashvili [former minister of defense currently businessman], Bezhuashvili [MP] and Ezugbaia [head of Georgian Railway] had misappropriated the factory.

“In September 2008, one month after the war Kezerashvili, Bezhuashvili and Ezgubaia misappropriated the factory together with poor businessmen Tsilosani (they claimed he was their ally) through using cascades of shows and violence. At midnight, with the support of their slave notary Zoidze they signed procurement agreement of assets. Former head of Financial Police Karseladze and his 20 armed executors supervised this process,” Sakvarelidze and Dekanoidze said.

They added that after this fact, they had to go abroad.

“I, Mirian Dekanoidze, live in the USA together with my family; I have received political shelter here and I, Avtandil Sakvarelidze (sentenced to 2 month pre-trial imprisonment based on fabricated charge, who has all his property sequestrated) live in Austria where I received political shelter. We, Former owners of the factory intend to launch uncompromised struggle to regain our business and property in Georgia and for that purpose we will use all documents audio and video materials we hold which will prove crimes committed by aforementioned people,” the statement reads.

Notary Otar Zoidze spread response statement to the statement of former owners of the EWRF.

“With this statement they blamed me in violence and encroached my dignity and honor. I cannot speak about agreement terms because law doesn’t allow me to do it because none of them directly or indirectly involved in the agreement approved by me. I would like to underline that Sakvarelidze and Dekanoidze’s statement is slanderous against me and disrespects my dignity and honor. I request them to publicly apology to me Unless they apologize I will appeal to the court,” Otar Zoidze said in his statement.
