Kutaisi Appeal Court Declined Georgian Dream’s Lawsuit

October 15, 2012

After Georgian Dream lost trial in Khoni district court on October 12, they lost trial at the Kutaisi Appeal Court too. Georgian Dream’s majoritarian candidate in Khoni district Nikoloz Sanodze requested to annul protocols of PSs # 8 and 10 of the DEC # 55.

“In fact, Kutaisi Appeal Court appropriated the function of the legislative body and adopted a new civic procedural code,” Georgian Dream’s lawyer Robinzon Khurtsilava told humanrights.ge, “judge directly wrote in the judgment that before the hearing, parties had right to enter judge’s working room and consult with him/her. Moreover, at this trial we discovered that there was resolution of the Khoni DEC # 55 which was dated by October 12.”

Chairwoman of the Khoni DEC # 55 Ia Kuchukhidze said court passed guilty-verdict because Georgian Dream’s lawsuit was ungrounded.
