Chechen People Liquidated in Lopota Gorge Buried in Duisi Village

Chechens liquidated in the August special operation in Lopota Gorge, were buried in Duisi village cemetery late at night on October 30. Duisi residents confirmed the information with ICK.

Duvakha Doshuev, date of birth: 19/01/1968, place of birth Vegeno, Chechnya; Salam Zaurbekov, date of birth 14/12/1991, place of birth Grozno, Chechnya; Jabrail Khashiev, date of birth 24/01/1989, place of birth Ingushetia; Musa Aduev, date of birth 28/03/1981, place of birth Grozno, Chechnya. Location of their bodies was not known so far. According to ICK, they were buried in the cemetery of lonely people close to Tbilisi airport. Family members of one of the killed Chechens arrived in Georgia in September but the government did not give them the body.

Three people – Aslan Margoshvili, Bahaudin Aldamov and Bahaudin Bagakashvili - killed during the special operation were buried in Duisi cemetery earlier.

Georgian MIA started so-called anti-terrorist operation in Lopota Gorge, close to Georgian-Dagestan Border late at night on August 28. According to the MIA, the special operation started after five young men were kidnapped from Lapankuri forest. Reportedly, the young people had disappeared on August 26. MIA claimed the armed group had crossed Georgian border and taken young fellows as hostages. On August 29, MIA spread information that as a result of the special operation two MIA officers and a military doctor were killed; five Georgian special unit officers were wounded; 11 militants were liquidated and 6 more were sieged. Finally we learned that seven militants were killed.
