Financial Sanction for the Incident in Kutaisi

Kutaisi City Court imposed 100 lari fines on six participants of the incident, which occurred during President’s visit in Kutaisi.

Prosecutor requested to fine Shota Zhgenti, Giorgi Bodokia, Giorgi Vardanidze, Rapael Lomtadze, Zaza Adeishvili and Tamaz Makhareishvili at the trial on December 22.

The incident occurred on December 19 when president had meeting in the Kutaisi office of the National Movement. Outside the building, demonstrators requested his resignation and did not allow Saakashvili to leave the office. Security guards managed to take the president out of the territory safely. The incident finished with a clash between parties.
