Gaps in State Program for IDPs

December 24, 2012

There are a lot of gaps in the state program for IDPs that was worked out in 2012 – representatives of the Kutaisi office of the Young Lawyers’ Association said.

“Many problems of internally displaced people were not reflected in the program. Working group of our organization has been studying the problems of IDPs in their settlements for many years. One of their main problems was related with accommodations. Their spaces are not privatized and flats are not properly renovated,” said Tamar Pachulia, chairwoman of the GYLA’s Kutaisi office.

She added the organization have some recommendations that shall be necessarily reflected in the State Program for IDPs.
