Head of Administration Protests Increased Personnel at City Hall

January 11, 2013

Head of administration at Kutaisi City Hall Tengiz Topuridze protests unprecedented increase of personnel at the City Hall. He said main principles of self-governmental entities are breached in the local government.

“Several employees of the self-governmental body have problems with responsibilities and discipline. I suggest my colleagues, informal authors and initiators of the ongoing process at the City Hall, not to betray their conscious, not to oppose the state and professionals employed at local self-governmental agencies. There is no necessity to increase personnel at the City Hall,” said Tengiz Topuridze.

According to the data from December, 2012, 815 people work at the Kutaisi City Hall. The salary fund was increased and for 2013 it amounted to 7 145 000 lari.
