Khomuli Population Requests Meeting with Majoritarian MP

January 22, 2013

Population of Khomuli village in Tskaltubo district requests meeting with district majoritarian MP Akaki Bobokhidze. They request him to keep his pre-election promises.

The villagers have had problem of drinking water for several years already; the village is not supplied with natural air and roads are damaged.

“They promised us to supply the village with gas but in vain. We do not have drinking water either and nobody pays attention to us. Bobokhidze promised us to resolve all these problems before elections but we have not seen him here after the election,” the locals said.

According to the villagers, they have petitioned to the local government with regard to their problems but in vain.
