Georgian Dream Elected Chairman in Khoni

February 11, 2013

On February 8, Otar Mushkudiani was elected to chair Khoni district office of the Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia. Vice-speaker of the parliament of Georgia Manana Kobakhidze also attended the establishment conference.

The conference was twice postponed in Khoni because part of Georgian Dream’s activists protested Mushkudiani’s candidature.

After the conference finished on February 8, Manana Kobakhidze met those activists who had protested Mushkudiani’s candidature several days before.

“We met both parties and conversed with them; it is fact that all of them are patriots of their district and country. They want to stand by the Georgian Dream. So, we reached some agreement and they also realized that everybody cannot become chairman and delegate of the political party,” Manana Kobakhidze said.
