MIA to Examine Administrative Complaint of Kakheti Information Center

Today, February 26 the oral hearing of the administrative complaint lodged by the Information Center of Kakheti will be held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On February 5 the Information Center of Kakheti lodged an administrative complaint to the Interior Minister Irakli Gharibashvili to immediately assign the FOI officer of Kakheti Patrol Police Department to provide public data.

On January 23, ICK reports, the Center submitted an application to FOI officer of Kakheti Patrol Police Department to provide data, including names, positions, time of appointment and Biographical data- on the officials appointed at the Department from October 1, 2012.

Information Center of Kakheti was also enquiring into the number of employees that quit positions at their option, as well as the data indicating their names, and dates of submission of statements on leave and dates of dismissal. The Center inquire was also trying to be updated of the staff employed at Kakheti Patrol Police Department from January 1 to December 31, 2012, including their full names, dates of appointment and dismissal as well as grounds for dismissal.
ICK also applied for the public data about patrol officer Zviad Tsnobiladze, in particular the copies of the order on his dismissal from patrol police, his employment survey and order on his appointment.

On January 30, 2013 the Kakheti Patrol Police Department chief Dimitri Maisuradze notified the Information Center of Kakheti that the application for public data had been forwarded to Davit Tsinaridze, Director of MIA Patrol Police Department for further response.
