Prosecutor’s Office reports that the footage presented by the former Chief of Didube-Chugureti District Police Department Irakli Pirtskhalava to investigation is not original and was cut-edited and the material has over 25 marks of editing.

“Cut-editing was done in simultaneous regime by the so called camera editing and/or was edited later after the footage was cut-edited in a studio,” material circulated by the Prosecutor’s Office says.

Irakli Pirtskhalava circulated the footage from the special operation during which Robakidze was killed in February 2013.

There was a sound of only one gunshot in the circulated video-footage after which it showed wounded Buta Robakidze.  The video-report aired 2004 in Patrol program of Rustavi 2 said that Buta Robakidze was shot dead during a cross-shooting.
