So-Called Spices Added to the List of Narcotic Substances

So-called spices were added to the list of narcotic and psychotropic substances. Parliament of Georgia passed amendments to the Law on Narcotic Substances, Psychotropic Substances, Precursors and Narcological Aid through third hearing.

According to the passed bill, amendments were introduced into second annex of the law and so called spices (herb substances with synthetic cannabinoids) were added to the list of small, large and particularly large amount of withdrawn narcotic substances and psychotropic substances: JWH-018, JWH-081, JWH-122, JWH-398, JWH-073, JWH-200, HU-200, GP-47, 497. 

Deputy chairman of the Legal Committee of the Parliament Tamaz Avdalian is author of the legislative initiative.
