Human Rights Center Announces Vacancy on Position of Contact Person of Ombudsman in Kakheti Region

Contact person will work in Gurjaani in office of Human Rights Center (HRIDC).

Main duties:

• By a prior agreement with the Central Office of Ombudsman of Georgia, the contact person of Ombudsman will receive explanations from the alleged victims of violations of human rights, will process this information according to the established rule and will transfer it to the central office of Ombudsman.
• Contact person will make trips in the regions to receive explanations from the alleged victims of violations on the spot.
• Contact person will regularly transfer information to Central Office of Ombudsman regarding alleged violations of human rights
• Contact person will help Central Office of Ombudsman to organize various meetings in Kakheti region. 
• Contact person will help Central Office of Ombudsman of Georgia to prepare regional report on human rights issues. Particularly, contact person will identify main tendencies related to issues of human rights in Kakheti region, will ensure systematization and collection of relevant factual material.
• Contact person will provide various recommendations to Central Office of Ombudsman to improve state of human rights in Kakheti region.
• Contact person will cooperate with local representatives of NGOs and media outlets in the region.

Qualifications:

• Higher education with specialization in law
• At least two years of working experience in human rights sphere
• Familiarity with main international human rights documents
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Distinguished skills in communication and organization
• Analytical and critical thinking skills, punctuality, objectivity

Salary: 650 GEL
