Human Rights Center to Monitor Presidential Elections

Human Rights Center will monitor the presidential elections of October 27, 2013 in the frame of the project Monitoring of the 2013 Electoral Process in Georgia. The project is implemented with financial support of the US Embassy in Georgia.

The project was launched in August of 2013 and will end in March of 2014. In the frame of the project, journalists from six regions – Kakheti, Adjara, Shida Kartli, Kvemo Kartli, Guria and Imereti – will prepare publications about election issues.

On the Election Day, October 27, 36 observers of Human Rights Center will observe the polling process in the regions. Interim and final reports will be produced based on the monitoring findings.

Hot line will work in the frame of the project and lawyer of Human Rights Center will provide citizens with legal consultations about election issues.
