After Elections, 628 Public Servants Were Dismissed in Kakheti

After the parliamentary elections of October 1, 2012, 628 public servants were dismissed from local self-government bodies in the Kakheti region before July 15, 2013. Among them, 389 persons quitted jobs based on their personal resignation; in parallel with it, 679 new persons were employed at the districts administrations and municipal boards. 

96 public servants were dismissed from the Telavi district administration. 71 of them left jobs based on personal resignation and 26 were dismissed by the administration after some positions were cancelled, after some illegally dismissed servants were restored to their positions and because of pension age too. Since October, 2012 till July 15, 2013, the Telavi district administration employed 112 people on vacant positions.

The Telavi municipal board dismissed five public servants. The Information Center of Kakheti (ICK) was informed from the municipal board that three employees quitted jobs because their contracts expired; two quitted jobs based on their personal resignation. In the same period, five new employees were hired at the Telavi municipal board.

Since the parliamentary elections, 126 public servants were discharged from the Gurkaani district administration. 34 of them resigned based on their personal application; 80 servants had expired labor contracts; 12 employees were dismissed because of liquidation of their working places, reorganization, death, court decision and district governor’s decree. 134 new employees were hired at the Gurjaani district administration from October 1, 2012 till July 13, 2013.

Four public servants were dismissed from the Gurjaani municipal board. Three of them resigned based on their applications; one was dismissed because of expired labor contract. From October 1, 2012, till July 13, 2013, six new employees were recruited at the municipal board.

45 people were dismissed from the Kvareli district administration; 25 of them quitted based on their personal applications; 13 people quitted because of expired contracts and 7 because of liquidation of their working places, court decision and moving to another office. 39 new people were employed at the Kvareli district administration in the same period.

One public servant quitted the Kvareli municipal board. One new employee was dismissed at the municipal board in the same period.

Six public servants were discharged from the Lagodekhi district administration. Five of them resigned based on personal application; and one employee was dismissed based on the court judgment. From October 1, 2012 till July 15, 2013, 23 new people were employed at the Lagodekhi district administration.

Three public servants were discharged from the Lagodekhi municipal board. One of them resigned based on his personal application, one had his labor contract ceased for disciplinary violation and one was dismissed because of liquidation of the fraction. Five new employees were hired at the Lagodekhi municipal board in the same period.

From October 1, 2012 till July 15, 2013, 83 employees were fired from the Sagarejo district administration. ICK reported from the Sagarejo district administration that 49 people resigned based on their applications, two people were fired for disciplinary violation, 27 people for personnel changes and reorganization and five people retired. In the reported period, 91 new employees were hired at the Sagarejo district administration.

From October 1, 2012 till July 15, 2013, no personnel changes took place in the Sagarejo municipal board. 

84 people quitted jobs at the Dedoplistskaro district administration based on their personal applications. In the same period, 83 new people were recruited.

Nine public servants were fired from the Dedoplistskaro municipal board. Eight of them resigned based on their personal applications and one had his labor contract expired. 16 new people were employed at the Dedoplistskaro municipal board in the reported period.

From October 1, 2012 till July 15, 2013, 69 people were fired from the Akhmeta district administration. 44 of them resigned based on their personal applications; 7 employees were fired because of disciplinary violation; 18 people were dismissed as a result of personnel reduction. In the same period, 67 new people were recruited at the Akhmeta district administration. 

10 public servants quitted the Akhmeta municipal board based on their personal applications; seven new people were recruited instead. 

67 public servants were dismissed from the Signagi district administration. 38 of them resigned based on personal applications; 29 of them were fired based on the district governor’s decree. 71 new people were hired at the district administration in the same period.

10 public servants were fired from the Signagi municipal board. 7 of them resigned based on their applications and expired labor contracts. From October, 2012 till July 15, 2013, 19 new people were hired at the Signagi municipal board. 

10 public servants were fired from October 1, 2012 till July 15, 2013, from the Kakheti regional administration. Seven of them resigned based on personal application. Three of them had contracts expired and were moved to another office. In the same period, 10 new people were hired at the Kakheti regional administration.

According to the Information Center of Kakheti, after the parliamentary elections, people were fired from non-profit, non-commercial legal entities, which were founded by municipal boards; among them were employees of kindergartens, culture houses, art schools, etc. Most employees were fired from kindergartens. According to official data, only in the  Akhmeta district 238 employees were fired from kindergartens after the parliamentary elections. According to the ICK, more than 1500 people were dismissed from budget-funded agencies except of self-governmental bodies in the Kakheti region.
