In Rustavi, on September 14, about 40 members of the Georgian Dream moved to the local election office of Nino Burjanadze, presidential candidate of the Democratic Movement. They spoke about the reasons of quitting the Coalition at the briefing at the election office.

Former activists of the Georgian Dream said they decided to quit the Coalition because of ongoing political processes in the city after the parliamentary elections of 2012.

“I was coordinator of the Georgian Dream in Rustavi precinct # 2. During pre-election campaign the leaders gave many promises to the population but none of them were kept. People are disappointed. Georgian Dream selected such people in the city, who have not done anything good for the local population; so I decided to quit the Coalition,” said former coordinator Giorgi Manjavidze.
