127 Polling Stations to Be Opened On October 27 in Kutaisi

Pre-election preparations are speeding up in Kutaisi. On September 23, 127 polling stations will be working in Kutaisi.

Precinct Election Commissions are already staffed with six members.

“Special trainings are organized for commission members to prepare them for the election procedures. However, majority of commission members already has experience that will have positive impact on the polling process,” representatives of the Kutaisi DEC # 59 said.

Special commission selected PEC members based on the submitted applications. The competition was announced from August 19 to September 3. 

As for the Kutaisi DEC # 59, there are 13 members in it. Five of them are permanent members, one represents CEC and seven –different political parties.
