“Today, we gathered here to praise Nino Burjanadze’s deed to the country and to Kutaisi. She is the only candidate, who can develop our country democratically,” the Council of Nino Burjanadze’s trustees was established in Kutaisi under this slogan on September 30.

The idea of setting up the council, unifying 17 members in it, belongs to the Kutaisi organizations of the Democratic Movement for the United Georgia and People’s Assembly. The purpose of the council is to inform society about future plans and goals of Nino Burjanadze.

“Mrs. Nino never speaks about her great services to the country. She will never say what she has done for Kutaisi when she was majoritarian MP. So, we wish to speak about it with people as well as about her future plans after becoming a president,” said Professor Omar Kikvidze at Akaki Tsereteli State University.

In addition to that, members of the Council of Nino Burjanadze’s Trustees take responsibility to inform the presidential candidate about the problems and needs of population and jointly work on their resolution.
