Preparation for 2013 Presidential Elections Started in Sagarejo

Pre-election turmoil has already started in Sagarejo: polling stations were opened, voters’ lists are hung up and election commissions were staffed.

There are 49 polling stations in Sagarejo Election District # 11 and they started functioning on September 22. The day was selected based on the following criteria: commission chairpersons, deputies and secretaries shall be elected no later than 34 days before the Election Day. There are 13 members in each precinct election commission – six of them are selected via competition, seven members represent different political parties. The commission members elected the commission chairperson, deputy chairperson and secretary as a result of ballot.
