Motorcyclist and passenger to be fined GEL 100 for not using fastened helmet

The fine for a motorcyclist and a passenger increases tenfold. Ministry of Internal Affairs addressed parliament on this legal initiative. 

“According to the current article of administrative code of offences, not using fastened helmet by a motorcyclist or a passenger is fined by GEL 10. By the draft law presented to parliament, the fine increases to GEL 100”.
