Repeated Competition in Signagi District Administration

January 8, 2014

Mikheil Mamalashvili, Kakheti

Competition for about 60 vacant working places in Signagi district administration partly failed. Head of organization unit at the administration Lia Zuriashvili said candidates for the positions of the heads of several service units were not selected for the test exams. “We announced competition for about 60 vacant places. We have to re-announce competition for several positions because when processing the applications, the applicants could not meet criteria for the positions. We faced similar problems about the candidates for the positions of head of legal department and Service Unit for Tourism and Relation with International Funds.”

She added that other candidates will take test exams in January. As for the failed competition, it will be re-announced in near future.

According to the Signagi district administration, competition was announced for the positions which were occupied by interim servants after 2012 Parliamentary Elections. Competition was not announced for the positions of district governor and deputy governors.
