Commission Chairperson Selects New Members of the Commission

New chairperson of the permanent competition commission for the selection of the employees at the Kutaisi City Hall intends personnel changes in the commission. Davit Dvali, the chairman, concluded it is necessary to staff the commission with new members, who will resume functioning of the commission with new enthusiasm.

He has already fired old members of the commission. Decree on the selection of the commission members issued by the ex-chairperson Tamaz Margvelashvili was also cancelled.

“Although the law allows me to individually select commission members, I intend to meet representatives of the nongovernmental organizations and hear their recommendations; afterwards we will start selection of the new commission members,” Davit Dvali said.

Chairperson of the permanent competition commission intends to meet representatives of civil society organizations in near future.
