Georgia spent 2.3 million dollars on establishing relations with American Congressmen, federal agents and American media, the Sunlight Foundation organization says.

According to the organization, in 2013 the Georgian government spent 1 096 520 million dollars on lobbyists, while the Security Council spent 155 049 dollars. According to Sunlight Foundation, the Georgian government is lobbied in the U.S. by companies - The Harbour Group, LLC, Patton Boggs LLP, HDMK and LLc, while in the past it was lobbied by 7 American companies.

Sunlight Foundation says that in 2013, former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili spent $ 1 460 918 million on lobbyists, the Prime Minister's office spent 36 700 dollars, while Salome Zurabishvili’s initiative group spent 6 000 dollars.

In addition, Sunlight Foundation published the list of ten countries and their spending in 2013. The most - 14.2 million dollars - was spent on US lobbyists by the United Arab Emirates, 12 million - Germany, 11.2 million – Canada. Among the top ten countries there are also Saudi Arabia (11.1 million dollars), Mexico (6.1 million dollars), Morocco (4 million dollars), South Korea (3.9 million dollars), Serbia (2.4 million dollars) and Azerbaijan (2.3 million dollars).
