Report of Human Rights Center – Monitoring 2014 Local Self-Government Elections in Georgia

Human Rights Center will present report – Monitoring 2014 Local Self-Government Elections in Georgia – in Human Rights House Tbilisi.

The report reflects results of 2014 local self-government elections.

The report reviews main characteristics of the pre-election period, as well as problems and violations observed during the Election Day. The report ends with the recommendations to Parliament of Georgia and Central Election Commission.

Human Rights Center conducted monitoring in the villages mostly settled by ethnic minorities in Kakheti region and in the near conflict villages in Imereti region.

The monitoring was implemented by financial support of Open Society Georgia Foundation.
